“If you have exclusionary ballot access to begin with, and you have candidates that are on the ballot, I think most voters in the U.S. would want to have an opportunity to hear from their actual ballot choices. But instead you have this middle man that gets in between voters and their choices, at a time when the polls overwhelmingly show that American voters are looking for more voices and choices; they want to make it easier for third party and independent candidates to win office; and something like two out of three Americans think that we need at least a third major party in this country.”
